Return Policy

Need to return something? No Problem. All we ask is for the item(s) to be returned in new condition as originally received and that our return guidelines below are followed.

Several brands we carry and ship have different warranty; our customer service staff will assist the customer with their warranty.

Exchanges

We offer a 30 day exchange policy; please notify us within this time via email, or fill out the Return Authorization Form if you would like to exchange your purchase so that we can give you a Return Authorization Number (RA#). You will need an RA# for any exchanges. We will ship the new items to you once we receive the original items and your payment for the new shipping costs, if applicable. Any item for exchange must be in new and unworn condition, with original tags. All exchanges must have an RA number clearly displayed on the outside of the package. If an exchange does not have an RA number the package may be refused or sent back to you at your expense.

Return for Refund

We offer a 30 day return policy; please notify us within this time via email, or fill out the  Return Authorization Form if you would like to return your purchase so that we can give you a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please have the item unworn, with the original tags still attached. All returns for refund must be received back within 15 days of the RA# being issued, any return received after the 15 days of RA# being issued, will be eligible for exchange or store credit only. All returns must have an RA number clearly displayed on the outside of the package. If a return does not have an RA number the package may be refused or sent back to you at your expense.

Restocking Fee:There is a 4% restocking fee to cover credit card fees that we incur to process all refunds.

Shipping Charges: Shipping costs are non-refundable. When returning an item that originally was free or discounted shipping, the actual shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount. This is because UPS, USPS, and/ or FedEx do not refund shipping charges.

Once we have received the returned item(s), we will issue a refund (minus any shipping charges and restocking fee).

* Please return your purchase in unused condition, with its original packaging, manuals, accessories and tags. Any item that has been used, even if just for a ride, or worn once, will be considered used and will not be accepted for a return or exchange.

Returns on Custom Products

At this time, we are unable to accept returns for customized products.

Damaged Merchandise

If you believe a product shipped from Leather Universe, arrived defective, or was damaged in transit, please contact Customer Service so we can assist with the problem. Please keep in mind that you must email us immediately to report the problem with your order once it is delivered. All claims for shortage, damage, or otherwise unacceptable goods in the shipment must be in writing and made within 5 days of receipt. Once the item has been returned, inspected, and confirmed defective we will ship a replacement to you at no extra cost. We are not responsible for any products deemed mistreated or worn out. All merchandise deemed not defective will be returned to you at your expense.
